Certificate of Excellence 2015

“Best Walking Tours”Reviewed on TripAdvisor Nov. 3, 2015

We did three walking tours with CityRover Walks. We had Max, Ryan and Danielle as guides. All were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. My husband and I have done walking tours in many cities in the US and Europe and these three tours were by far the best. I highly recommend spending some time to really learn about NYC.

“Wonderful, Great Fun…a Must Do!”Reviewed on TripAdvisor Nov. 12, 2015

I have taken 6 or so walks with City Rover over the past few years. They are SO good, I just keep coming back!

In the past few weeks I did the Brooklyn Bridge & Downtown Highlights tours with Ryan and the new Art in the City tour with Danielle.

Ryan’s passion, knowledge, enthusiasm and character were infectious. We had the best time learning all about the building of the bridge and the stories behind Wall Street. The data base of knowledge in his head was phenomenal. And his rendition of Peter Stuyvesant, New Amsterdam and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton had even strangers not on our Tour stop and listen.

Equally so, Danielle’s knowledge of Art and the history behind SoHo, Little Italy and surrounding areas had us immensely interested and left us wanting to know more about the diverse collection of street art on offer.

I cannot recommend the team at City Rover enough. The best walking tours I have ever done. Do yourself a favour, make the time and book a tour. You won’t regret it.

First Visit to New York City” – Reviewed on TripAdvisor Oct. 17, 2015

I originally made a very elaborate itinerary to try and see everything in our 5 day visit, which is obviously impossible! My Plan B was to sign up for walking tours to see the different neighborhoods and learn the history. We ended up taking 4 tours with City Rovers and all of them were so much fun! Danielle, Ryan and Rodney obviously love what they do and they also provide water and snacks. Did not get to meet Max in person (he is the owner) but he was very quick to reply to emails and happy to answer any questions. Another nice feature was the more tours you booked, there would be a discount on the price.

Definitely go see the big attractions, but even just one of City Rover tours will definitely be one of the highlights of your trip!
