Custom and Private Sightseeing Tour of Brooklyn by Foot & Subway
Brooklyn is NY’s largest borough, with over 2.6 million residents. And all 3 Rovers – Max, Danielle, and Ryan – live in Brooklyn and love to show it off to visitors.
Brooklyn is rich in history, culture, and diversity. It also has a great food scene, with terrific bars, restaurants and cafes, including many family-run neighborhood spots — if you know where to go.
So whether you’re visiting New York City for the first time or coming back as a seasoned tourist, Brooklyn offers a tremendous variety of things to do, see, and eat.
There are classic Brooklyn pizza and great bagels to taste, as well as delicious cheese cake, ice cream, coffee, chocolate, beer, and everything else that’s worth eating and drinking.
There are historic 19th century neighborhoods to explore, including Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, and Park Slope, as well as waterfront “industrial-turned-luxury” areas such as Dumbo and parts of Williamsburg. And these popular neighborhoods are near some of Brooklyn’s most beautiful and famous parks, including Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fort Greene Park, and Prospect Park.
We can customize a private tour of Brooklyn for history buffs, foodies, beer lovers, families, or travelers who enjoy getting off the beaten path and exploring interesting neighborhoods and beautiful parks.
How about a trip to Brooklyn’s famous Coney Island for a day of fun in the sun in the “People’s Playground”? Get a Nathan’s hotdog from the original location circa 1916, or visit one of NY’s oldest family-run pizzerias, Totonno’s (circa 1924). Maybe take a ride on one of the most famous roller coasters in the world – the Cyclone – the wooden classic circa 1927, or on one of the oldest Ferris Wheels – the Wonder Wheel – circa 1920.
If you like the idea of visiting Coney Island by the beach and learning about its rich history, we can then take you into neighboring Brighton Beach, also known as “Little Russia by the Sea”. This will transport you to a different world without leaving New York City. Sample some meat dumplings, potato knishes, and other Russian treats, and explore an authentic immigrant enclave near the Ocean and far from Manhattan skyscrapers.
Tour duration can be anywhere from 3 hours to all day. We can travel by foot and subway (subway cost not included). Specific food stops can be included upon request (or suggested by us), or we can provide a luxury vehicle and driver to take us from one area of interest to another (additional fees apply).
